Keith has been a member of the Golden Gate Park Band for over 8 years. Although retired as a staff programmer at UC Berkeley (with degrees in physics and mathematics), he nonetheless regards music-making as his reward in life, and has performed with many musical organizations, including the San Francisco Lesbian & Gay Freedom Band (31 years), the Prometheus Symphony Orchestra (25 years) the UC Berkeley Orchestra, the wind-band of the northern division of the French National Railroad (L’Harmonie du chemin de fer du Nord), and the California Bach Society.

Mr. Sklower also serves as an audio archivist, and his recordings have aided several local groups, both amateur and professional, in applying for grants. One of his recordings of the Sonos handbell choir has been broadcast nationally on NPR. Keith serves as Treasurer on the board of the GGPB.
