Golden Gate Park Band is a certified Legacy Business with the City and County of San Francisco and has met the application criteria established by Section 2A.242 of the San Francisco Administrative Code for the Legacy Business Registry. The Legacy Business Program acknowledges that longstanding, community-serving establishments are valuable cultural assets and the "soul of the city," and their preservation is critical to maintaining the unique character of San Francisco.
