Eric joined the band in 2005. He’s been a professional musician in the San Francisco Bay Area since the early nineties. He holds a baccalaureate in Music Performance from the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Music and can be seen regularly here in the Bay Area in Jeff Sanford’s Cartoon Band and the Golden Gate Park Band .

Aside from making music whenever he can, he’s also a professional audio engineer, sound designer, music and radio producer (including podcasting). He has numerous public radio awards and even spent 20 years in commercial radio as an announcer and producer. Eric has worked as a professional audio engineer since the late eighties doing everything from boom operator to recording engineer for music, to looping to mixing, to being a cable monkey!

Eric is also a professional audio engineer and started his own music label, Digital Victrola (now closed - ah the glamour of the music business). You can find the recordings on Band Camp, SoundCloud, and the Music page on his website.

Eric also serves the Golden Gate Park Band on the Board of Directors, as Band Secretary and is the band’s Music Librarian.
