Originally from Oregon, Daven has been a part of the Golden Gate Park Band since the summer of 2024. A classically trained trombonist with a Bachelors of music from the University of Oregon under the guidance of Henry Henniger and a Masters from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying with Elliot Chasanov and James Pugh,

As an avid freelance performer, you can find him performing in orchestras, brass quintets, pit orchestras, rock bands and more throughout the Bay Area. In his free time he enjoys cooking, watching movies and spending time with his cats Odette and Tormund.
